What is a Partan(TM)? A Partan(TM) is a Personalized tARTAN (TM), a tartan-themed design containing PERSONALIZED text on it that shows through a C-Thru Grips(R) putter or golf grip.

Not Scottish or Irish? NO PROBLEM!!!

For example, I am a big fan of LPGA player Katherine Hull, who hails from Queensland, Australia and played college golf at my alma mater, Pepperdine University, in Malibu, CA.

I have volunteered as a walking scorer at several LPGA events, and have been fortunate to keep score for Katherine on several occasions.

Her sunny disposition, great sense of humor and general "groundedness" is a refreshing change of pace in this day of surly professional athletes with outsized egos - Katherine has a smile on her face and in her heart, and a funny quip to offer to her playing partners and to the volunteer support team! She's a super person first and foremost, and an extremely talented golfer, too...CONGRATS on your successes, Katherine!

In honor of her breakout year in 2008, here are a couple of designs that I made up for Katherine - the left one features the Queensland District tartan, and the right one is the Australia National tartan.
