Celebrating Scottish and Irish heritage via personalized putter and golf grips
Initially, I wanted to purchase a golf towel with the Sinclair tartan design, to pay tribute to my Mom. Mom was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, but emigrated to the United States after WWII, (along with the rest of her family) when "Grampa Sinclair" took a Controller's job with a steamship company in Buffalo, NY.
I was unsuccessful at finding a Sinclair tartan golf towel (There IS a substitute, however), but I did design these grips, and I liked them so much BETTER than an old towel that would have gotten all muddy and disgusting. (I didn't really want to wipe dirt all over a nice towel, anyway, right?)
The grips are beautiful – ESPECIALLY the putter grips. Their flat front acts almost like a magnifying glass, and the tartan patterns, ( especially the contrasting text) were spectacular looking when they were installed.
